Great Old Broads for Wilderness is a national wilderness advocacy organization that uses the voices and activism of elders (mostly ladies of a certain age) to preserve and protect wilderness and wild lands. We give voice to the millions of older Americans who want to see our wild lands protected for our children and grandchildren. Using the wisdom of our years, grace, and humor, our forte is raising public awareness for the importance of wilderness and roadless wild lands, and alerting the public to inappropriate development and management decisions.
