We will meet at the San Francisco Overlook at California Trails at 11:00 AM. You will take the gondola and get a California Condor eyed view of the Zoo and the SF Bay Area on your way up to California Trails. Here is a link to the zoo map so you can find your way to the gondola and the San Francisco Overlook.
Once we convene, we will stroll to the Gray Wolf compound. We want to be situated there before Noon. On the first Wednesday of the month, local authorities test our civil defense systems. The sirens elicit wolf howls from the pack, which is an audible event that few people experience. After we complete our walking tour of California Trails, we will break for no-host lunch at the Landing Cafe and some conversation. You are encouraged to tour the rest of the zoo at your leisure.
