You are invited to a very special event as author, ecologist, and Willamette Valley (OR) Broadband Leadership Team member Peg Herring discusses her new book, Born of Fire and Rain, at Powells Books in Portland on Thrusday, January 9 at 7:00 PM (Pacific).

Born of Fire and Rain is the story of the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. From the description: “Here at the tumultuous edge of a shifting continent, the temperate rainforest of the Pacific Northwest has a lot to say about living on a rapidly changing planet.
