Di Allison
Di rejoined Broads’ Board because of its commitment to nurture the members at the same time it nurtures the planet. Although an elementary school teacher by training, her passion led her to the nonprofit world where she served as board chair, commission member, and executive director for organizations as diverse as the League of Women Voters of Utah, the Ogden Nature Center, Utah Gender and Justice Task Force and the Weber County Library Board of Trustees. She works to have a world that respects diversity, equity, and inclusion for people along with the health and sustainability of our planet. N. Scott Momaday said, “How are we to ward off the immorality of ignorance and greed, the disease of indifference to the earth… I make a prayer for words. Let me say my heart.” Di believes we not only say our heart but we act on it to make a difference.
