Robyn Cascade
Robyn devoted her early career to ecology and environmental education before becoming an elementary school teacher. In retirement, she served as the leader of the Northern San Juan Broadband before joining the Board in autumn of 2024. Robyn is engaged locally in wildlife and botanical surveys, wilderness solitude monitoring and grazing monitoring. She also takes every opportunity to advocate for the health and resilience of our public lands and watersheds. She is an avid outdoors person who delights in backpacking, paddling, skiing, snowshoeing, biking and hiking with a focus on observing wildlife and the signs/tracks they create on the landscape. Robyn is passionate about singing with Threshold Choir, writing poetry, growing food and building compassionate, welcoming community across diversity.
