Broadlights:

We have participated in/sponsored several public events —both in person and via Zoom—to educate the public about wildlife, climate change, dams, and forest management issues.

We hosted a regional Broadwalk—Discover the Santiam—in 2018, and a Climate Education and Stewardship campout— See the Trees, Save the Forest, Heal the Planet – in 2021, drawing dozens of regional Broads to the Willamette National Forest to learn from experts, survey for endangered bumblebees, and check out a proposed timber sale.

We host several Advocacy Nights each year—over Zoom during the pandemic—to dig deeper into important public lands issues and to take action on timely campaigns.

In 2022, we received a grant from the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance to do solitude and campsite monitoring in the Mount Washington Wilderness.
