Please join Greater Wasatch Broadband and Southwest Utah Broadbands on the south steps of the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City on January 11th at noon as we stand up for public lands.

Public land protections, including national monuments, are supported by overwhelming majorities of Americans who live in Western states. In August, officials in Utah filed a lawsuit before the Supreme Court to take over federal “unappropriated lands”. In October, 12 states and a few state legislatures  supported Utah’s effort, signing amicus briefs with the nation’s high court. SUWA (Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance) is fighting back. They filed their own lawsuit on December 18.
