Short Description of Activity
Gorge on Tap is a community event hosted by Friends of the Columbian Gorge to educate the public about recent happenings in the area. The event featured different speakers on the following topics: Gorge Towns to trails project; Zenith Energy terminal proposal in Portland, and BPA project at Steigerwald Wildlife Refuge. A powerpoint presentation was included and beer and wine and food were available at the venue, Warehouse 23 in Vancouver, Wa.
Reflection/Evaluation
I was grateful for the update, especially on the Zenith Energy proposal in Portland and I signed on to the petition to stop the terminal. I was also joined by a fellow trail steward whom I hope to engage with Broads soon.
