Reflection/Evaluation
A lot more time spent reporting out and sharing announcement than hoped/expected so once again didn’t get to the hands-on experiential activity re: Authority Of the Resource (Leave No Trace practice.) However everyone wrote a letter to the USFS GMUG supervisor’s office/planning team to request an extension of the too-short 30-day comment period. We were granted a longer comment period (30 work days rather than 30 total days) AND thanks to a county commissioner request and one letter from a Broad, there will be an Open House in Ridgway along with several other locations. Previously Ouray County was not scheduled to have an open house within our county.
