Reflection/Evaluation
Our goal was to raise awarenss about the issues that were brought to light for the participants of the Borderlands Broadwalk and to write postcards to legislators about related legislation. It also was one of the first times we’ve done an advocacy night to follow up and keep conversations going after a Broadwalk with participants as presenters and leaders. We’re continuing this trend with Don’t Dam Salmon participants leading our next advocacy night in August. It’s an effective way to include more members in leadership roles.
