Short Description of Activity
The forum was convened by the City of Portland. Of the 400 people present,most were opposed to the expansion of the Zenith Energy Terminal in NW Portland. While the City was not formally making a decision on Zenith at this time, this listening session was an important opportunity to publicly share our concerns with the City Council and demand action.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal was to oppose the transport of tar sands oil through Portland.
