Short Description of Activity

It has been 10 years since the 2009 Omnibus Public Lands Act was signed into law, designating over 150,000 acres of Wilderness, almost 350,000 acres of NRA and over 80 miles of Wild and Scenic Rivers on Mt. Hood, through the efforts of a broad coalition. 10 years later, we are gathering as stakeholders to consider what has changed since 2009 and look at opportunities that lie ahead for further protect one of the most incredible icons in Oregon–Mt. Hood.

Reflection/Evaluation

Our goal was to communicate with Senator Wyden and Representative Blumenaeur about our vision for Mt. Hood/Gorge areas and we did (see file below).
