Outcome 1: Stream/river sampled (3 site(s)/plot(s))
Short Description of Activity
Amanda Keasberry with Cascade Forest Conservancy joined us up at Iron Creek Campground to educate us about beavers and their habitat.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to visit potential beaver habitat areas in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and learn how to evaluate these sites using a systematic approach. We wereable to visit three sites; however, none were appropriate for beaver habitat. Although we were disappointed in the stewardship project, we learned about beavers and their habitat.
