Short Description of Activity
This was an informational meeting about rules governing the trapping and hunting of large predators – primarily cougars and bears. We gathered information and wrote comments at the meeting.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was interesting, but discouraging because the end decision of G&F was to continue trapping, even though their model of evaluating population numbers and density has been discredited. there are much better models for ascertaining populations that are not being implemented.
