Short Description of Activity

Solitude Monitoring from Thomas Lake TH to Blue Lake and up to PCT and return.

Reflection/Evaluation

The goal of the activity was to document use of the trail and monitor campsites for solitude. There appeared to be plenty of solitude today on that trail. The novice backpacker (Lorena) appeared to have gained awareness of safety and equipment today with Barb, our wonderful hike leader. I’m just glad they made it back safely. I was a little concerned when they told me they were going backpacking up there.
