Short Description of Activity
Conservation Alliance, in cooperation with NSJBB and Senator Bennet’s office, hosted a hike to Blaine Basin which is part of the Whitehouse Addition to the Mount Sneffles Wilderness Area in the CORE Act.
Reflection/Evaluation
Though our BB leader was unable to attend since she was out of town, Lisa Pool participated as did Ouray Commissioner Ben Tisdel, Mr. Hogan from Senator Gardner’s GJ office and John Whitney from Bennet’s Durango office. Many Conservation Alliance members participated with a total of 20 hikers. Our outreach is reflected in the number of participants below.
