Short Description of Activity
Draft response to Draft EIS re proposed land exchange of Oak Flat and Other parcels to Rio Tinto Mining Company. Three years ago Roz, Jenny, Kathy Ann submitted comments re the NEPA Scoping. Roz is writing the technical response to the DEIS – she lives near Oak Flat and has been attending public meetings. Jenny has written introduction and tribal concerns. Roz and Jenny (Fran, Kathy Ann and others) have been attending the annual Oak Flat spiritual gathering for the past several years in support of our indigenous friends and the NF campground at Oak Flat.
