Short Description of Activity
Provided education and outreach activity one on one to potential Broad Kirsten Carpentier who signed our interest list at tabling event-Ridgefield Birdfest. She was interested and receptive. We also visited her community art education work space, among many other community organizations at Tabor space in southeast Portland, Oregon. I gave her newsletter and described our history, mission and current interest groups. I dropped of at her home, our calendar of local events and encouraged her to attend our next Broadband meeting.
Reflection/Evaluation
I feel it went well. Kirsten wrote a membership check for $75 to join GOBW, and I processed it via snail mail to the national organization.
