Short Description of Activity
Book group in SW Washington but open to all in Broadband. Studying the book Beyond Debate, Answers to 50 misconceptions on Climate Change by Shahir Masri. We are becoming better educated on how to counteract the false arguments against realities of climate change. We discuss how to operationalize what we’re learning, in our everyday lives.
Reflection/Evaluation
I wish we had more participants. Our choice of books was not a big draw for people as it’s factual and doesn’t stir up controversy or hot discussions. Next time, we may have a bigger draw. The Sunday evening schedule doesn’t work for those in the working world.
