Short Description of Activity

During the month of October – following the Ouray Tipton listening session on the REC Act and BEFORE the US House vote on the CORE Act, we generated phone calls, emails and LTEs urging Tipton to vote in favor of the CORE Act.

Reflection/Evaluation

Though we made our voices heard via phone and email and generated 4 LTEs published (each in multiple outlets) in Ouray Plaindealer, The Watch, Telluride Daily Planet & the Norwood Post (the last three all owned by telluride news.org) Tipton voted no during the house vote on CORE Act on October 31. Nevertheless, the House passed the CORE Act 227-182 with bipartisan support (5 republicans voting in favor!!) (Shame on Scott Tipton!)
