Short Description of Activity
Mary O’Brien came to the Mogollon Box Area on the Gila River NW of Silver City. Saturday included detailed presentation on methodology, and two field trips to ungrazed areas. Sunday focused on grazed areas and planning for ongoing monitoring.
Reflection/Evaluation
Excellent training to get us started. Need to establish our monitoring tool and schedule of monitoring next year. Also need to strategize about approach and relationship with Forest Service.15
