Short Description of Activity

A 4 session, live webinar of 2 hour sessions each, nationally offered. This coursework is specifically designed to educate, inform, challenge and encourage personal responsibility and action regarding White Supremacy, or White Privilege. It is offered in a white caucus format, where leaders and participants all identify as some or fully ‘white’ people.

Reflection/Evaluation

My goals were to deepen my understanding, gain a community of like-minded people near and far who are committed to understanding and learning more together and talking about how to apply our learning in our own lives and the communities we serve.
I believe it opened many avenues, and I am continuing to read, educate myself and speak with others.
I sent information to the Leadership Team and to the leaders in two additional non-profit organizations of
which I am a member or leader: NatureConnect NW and Sacred Earth Foundation Boards and Staff.
Laurie Kerr also enrolled from Broads. I’d like to see more Broads take advantage and will share it on when new dates are available.
