Book discussion on the book, Reimaging A Place For The Wild, this book contains a diverse collection of personal stories that describe encounters with remaining wild creatures of the American West and critical essays that reveal wildlife’s essential place in western landscapes.
Followed by a hike with a purpose along the red rocks and washes in Kayenta.
Reflection/Evaluation
We now have a set date for our Books and Boots, which I think will help for better consistency. I was not able to attend but enlisted two gals, one to lead the discussion and one to lead the hike. Chris my co-leader who usually does not attend, came to be assured all the GOB rules where followed on the hike for safety. I think giving other people leadership roles helps to gain more commitment to the activity.
