Short Description of Activity

Potluck and Powerpoint presentation to the White Mountain Indivisible Group in Pinetop AZ on my way home from the Lobo meeting in Albuquerque.
The presentation covered the history of the Mexican gray wolf and their near extinction, the current status of recovery of these highly endangered wolves, both in the US and in Mexico and what they need to survive and thrive. The US Fish and Wildlife Service’s 2015 Mexican Gray Wolf Management Rule has been declared by the Courts to be in violation of the Endangered Species Act, giving us a current opportunity to address it’s deficiencies.

Reflection/Evaluation

Very well received. A very engaged and dynamic group.
