Crazy business quarter with CORE: solicited (and obtained 5) signers for the craft beverage support letter (not reflected above in measurable outcomes; wrote postcard processing protocol for national office interns; reached out to indigenous relations, solicited and drafted LTEs from community members; wrote our own and solicited other stakeholders’ quotes for press release in anticipation of the House vote; disseminated the 2019 Western Slope Wilderness survey (conducted by New Bridge Strategies) to partners, members and media; compose action alerts to members, correspond with Kirsten Blackburn of Conservation Alliance; regular CORE coalition calls, etc
Reflection/Evaluation
The CORE Act passed the US House with bipartisan support!!! ..and we keep working our sassy, bad Broad asses to advocate for this legislation! LTEs published in 4 different newspapers – similar content but different lengths. The longest attached.
