Short Description of Activity
The collaborative group discussed various comments on the plan revision for the Mountainair RD. Every member presented their candidates for comments. Some comments like expanding wilderness and wild and scenic rivers were pretty much rejected out of hand, again by the land grant members.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was pretty frustrating that the land grant assn again vetoed any wild and scenic river designations, and expansion of wilderness, even four areas that were tiny and sensible and a part of all four alternatives, but fortunately we can submit our comments individually, which we did as an organization.
