Short Description of Activity

Robyn crafted our BB’s first ever formal comment letter re: a CPW State Trails Grant non-motorized application. The application is for a planning grant to attend to regional planning for bike trails primarily within Ouray County with some collaboration with nearby counties.

Reflection/Evaluation

We submitted a solid letter that emphasizes our position that trail planning must be based upon best available science and that conservation groups, wildlife advocates and sportsmen and women must be included in stakeholder meetings. See uploaded letter for more details. I am always amazed at how long it takes to compose these comments. Hopefully, with practice, it will get easier and become less time-consuming.
