Short Description of Activity
Visit and tour The Dalles Dam and Visitor Center to learn about dams on the Columbia and how salmon and other wildlife are affected by the dams. (A separate report was filed for the activity itself- this is only for my planning and execution of the event. ) Photos are available but I think they were posted with the group activity report.
Reflection/Evaluation
We wanted to educate members before the June broadwalk so they would understand more about the damming of the Columbia River, and be able to tour an additional dam. We got 18 people out to The Dalles and people seemed to learn quite a bit.
