Short Description of Activity
Julie Weikel, Amy Stuart and Joanne Richter joined Micky Ryan in a meeting with Governor Kate Brown. We introduced ourselves and then Amy gave an overview of dam impacts on fish, Julie talked about the economics of maintaining the four Lower Snake R. Dams, and Joanne talked about climate change impacts on fish and orcas. The meeting went very well with Kate taking notes and asking good questions. We encouraged her to take a leadership role on this issue with her fellow governors in WA and ID.
