Short Description of Activity

Cold, wet, and windy today. I talked with a couple about why beavers were important to the ecosystem and where the lodge was located. I also talked with another couple about the restoration project. I noted the beautiful flock of Tundra swans, Buffleheads, as well as a kestrel and bald eagle today.

14 Adults and 1 Child were noted today on the trail. 6 visitor contacts were made.

Reflection/Evaluation

The purpose of the activity was to connect people with nature and educate them about the restoration project. Not a lot of people out today and didn’t want to stop because of the weather.
