Short Description of Activity
A total of 276 visitors were noted on the trail today. Of these 232 were adults and 44 were youth.
Very very lovely 60 degree day today! The visitors were aplenty! The info on the GBH was very helpful and I saw 6 GBH by the lake by the rookery. I shared the info regarding habitat, mating, diet, range, chicks, etc with several groups as well as the restoration project. Many beautiful buffleheads on the lake diving for food today. Warm and calm day. No rule breakers or problems today.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to document trail users and connect folks with nature as well as updating visitors on the restoration project. I still have not received the latest update on the project, so I need to get recent progress on plantings and timelines. Other than that, it was an amazing day with lots of visitors!
