Short Description of Activity
CARE Call with Mary Obrien . Mary covered what the NEPA Act of 1969 included as well as what EIS involved. Also Categorical exclusions were discussed as well as how the Trump admin proposes to dismantle these regulations. These comments are due March 10. Mary also presented the proposal to dismantle grazing regulations and the scoping period has ended but the comments are due March 6, 2020 for grazing proposal.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to increase my awareness of NEPA. I really appreciated this CARE call and took lots of notes. I need to go back and listen to the recording to get what I missed over the call. I feel like I can now make reasonable and educated comments on the terrible NEPA proposal. Thank you for the call.
