Short Description of Activity
Given Great Old Broads for Wilderness effort to educate staff, board and membership regarding diversity, equity and inclusion within and beyond our organization, NSJBB widely publicized a gender diversity training taking place in our community and encouraged our members to attend. The two community events (coupled with teacher trainings, a school staff workshop and student meetings) were hosted by Voyager Youth Program.
Reflection/Evaluation
The community events were super informative and participates engaged in questions and discussion with the presenter Aiden Key.
