Short Description of Activity
Sierra Club hosted a training for any interested parties on how to lobby on environmental issues that will be discussed and voted on in the January budget focused 30 day session.
Reflection/Evaluation
Goal was to make people comfortable with talking to legislators. Guest speakers were very helpful, and practicing speaking with strangers was also useful. There was also lots of information and talking points on environmental issues for people to access. I’m glad I went; Linda also attended, and I met a recently retired Forest Service Silviculturalist who wants to join the Broadband to work on various forest issues.
