Short Description of Activity
Sandia Collab. monthly meetings, 1/21, 2/18, 3/17 – Each from 9-12; 2 of 3 had 2 RGVBB attendees; Discussions were general forest reports similar to what has been presented at other RD collaboratives. Also Scope of Work was written for 3 permanent committees – Management, Communications, and Membership. There were also projects committees set up for 18 priority projects. I am the Secretary for the Management committee, and also the chair for a wilderness committee and an invasive plant committee, so I have set up Scope of Work for the two project committees and take notes for the mgmt committee.
Reflection/Evaluation
The meetings would be more effective if more stakeholders would attend, but when the facilitator is trying to recruit volunteers for committees, some tend to duck those meetings. Sometimes I I was better at ducking. The next meeting on 3/17 will be online.
