Short Description of Activity
Discussion of winter fire season, mud season, MSO injunction and use of other projects to keep the loggers and millworkers busy – namely funding was found for restoration work on state and private land. This can keep things going until the end of this spring, but after that, it will be difficult to keep the project going if there isn’t a lifting of the injunction.
Reflection/Evaluation
Everyone is very courteous about not blaming the conservation groups like the Broads for the WEG injunction, but it is still awkward. In addition, the extension for 2020 and 2021 is delayed for an extra 30 days because an objection was filed to the final EA and DN FONSI that needs to be resolved. (By me..) This issue should be resolved by Tuesday the 17th, in an online meeting, but no work could be done be done right now anyway.
