Short Description of Activity
Landscape area is western COLORADO. All in person meetings and events were canceled. 3 calls– Broads Wildlife (2 hours), CBBC (1.5 hours) , and Colorado Wildlands Project (2hours). We don’t often talk about the whole of the western part of the state and I believe you gain a different kind of understanding when that is done. We also don’t compare states in the region or different agencies so again different information and perspective.
Reflection/Evaluation
I greatly appreciate the Broads wildlife and CBBC calls. They bring new information sometimes in the form bits and pieces that relate to a large concern. Other times I gain information on a topic which I may have had no knowledge about. I also appreciate hearing the voices of people I care about and the many small moments of connection that happen.
The Colorado Wildlands Project call had 30 people, most of whom knew more about past history of working on wildlands designation than I did so again significant learning for me.
