Short Description of Activity
The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority scheduled an “emergency” meeting with little or no public notice. The resolution they have proposed is to transfer $35 million of emergency funds to a Mining Company for planning purposes on a highly controversial road project.
Activity includes preparing and delivering public testimony.
Reflection/Evaluation
Loren was able to pick up the information on the meeting on day one of a two day meeting. We were able to prepare, deliver and submit comments in short order. Kathy attended the full meeting to listen to the Board deliberate on the Resolution.
