Susie Schmidt from Rogue Valley Broadband -Oregon called me.
Reflection/Evaluation
Learned that some broadbands are so large that they have separate google groups for different interest areas such as book clubs, hiking group, advocacy work etc.
Noted that it’s important to use the events page on the national GOB page so everyone can see what your group is up to.
Inquired about a webpage presence, would like to create my own on Weebly and send the national office a link to that page.
Inquired about soft credit, wondering if those $$ accumulate from funds not used in past years.
Susie stated that she has had good luck with tabling at film festivals such as “Wild and Scenic Film Festival” and Earth Day.
Susie noted a film we should watch on Vimeo, “Great Old Broads For Wolves”.
