Short Description of Activity
Filed comments in response EA in ongoing NEPA project. Jack’s project is proposal for operation of 90 plus mining claims in the Prescott National Forest, Bradshaw Mountains. Recreational gold mining club proposes to dredge streams for up to 20 years in one or all of these claims.
Reflection/Evaluation
Response was due this date – a lot of research into EA and our original comments in scoping. Not only is the dredging of the streams upsetting, but it a favorite area to recreate in hiking and camping.
