Short Description of Activity
Discussion concerning the impact of trails on wildlife and conservation. In several meeting with the State Trails Committee Mile High Broads have spoken to the impact of recreation on trails. The guidebook,
“Planning Trails with Wildlife in Mind” is currently being revised.
Reflection/Evaluation
Appreciated hearing from the panel that less trails, not more might be a better answer, even if public demand is great, we absolutely must conserve our natural resources and wildlife. With an opening on the STC
I have promoted that the Great Old Broads should have role.
