Short Description of Activity
Book discussion on part 3 of the Book, Reimagining A Place For The Wild. The topic was Practicing Programmatic Approaches; managing and accommodating and sustaining the wildlands. conserving wild bison in the twenty-first Century, and combining ranching communities and conservation.
Because it was the start of the nation’s shut-down, we came together for this activity via zoom.
Reflection/Evaluation
I thought it went very well. The group was excited to come together and we had a good discussion. Everyone seemed to want to finish the book the following month via another zoom call; however, when I tried to set it up, there was not the same interest. I am not sure if people were just busy, or if the “zoom” meetings lost their “newness” and people were over the virtual thing. I am guessing it was the later.
