Outcome 1: Advocacy actions (8 comments)
Short Description of Activity
7 Broads submitted comments opposing the proposed road on the Pumice Plain to the forest service on Mt. St. Helens. Only those who submitted comments during the scoping process were able to submit objection letters.
Reflection/Evaluation
Susan Saul sent objections as well as a 24-page document letter with specific objections. She mentioned that she spent 100 hours on her letter. It was the first time I had participated in both the scoping and objection process and I understand the process much better having listened to the care call on the NEPA process. We will see what the outcome is and if we are able to get a meeting as requested.
