Short Description of Activity
Broads has been attending meetings on the Greater Prescott Trails for the past several years. Scoping for Mid-Term Project Two was filed by Broads and Yavapai Group Sierra Club in 2018. Our objection letter is in response to the EA and FONSI issued on May 15, 2020.
Reflection/Evaluation
Jenny and Tom filed our objections in a timely manner on June 26, 2020. I have forwarded a copy of the letter for your files. For the past few years, I write the letters and Tom adds more details. Sometimes we add Gary Beverly and even Sandy Bahr (Chapter Director). Meetings over the past several years have been attended and commented on by multi-users. This project is widening trails for motorized vehicles – primarily motorcycles. They are conserving e-bikes as non-motorized (which we object to). They also plan on expanding trailheads to accommodate trailers. Also will be decommissioning many trails and posting many areas as under reclamation to keep us out.
