Short Description of Activity
This activity is an attempt to get Broadband members, their friends and families out on the trail. We feel like the more people are outside, the more they appreciate and will support public lands and wild places. This challenge is a motivational tool along with a little friendly competition. We will keep a list of all participants and email them regularly to check on their progress. We have also started a blog where pictures can be posted and descriptions of challenges. On October 17, everyone who has participated in the challenge will complete their final challenge and will send a photo. We will compile all the photos and send it to media, elected officials, etc. Each challenger will also be encouraged to send a personal note to their elected representatives highlighting the importance of preserving our public lands.
Reflection/Evaluation
The activity started on June 6 and ends on October 17. At the end of the challenge we will do a full evaluation of the activity.
