Extremely busy quarter for wildlife advocacy and engagement from webinars to coalition calls to advocacy (22 signatures on CO Wildlife Corridor petition, 2comments re: CPW Mtn Lion Management Plan. 1 protest re: Loveland Ski Expansion) to preparing for our Bighorn monitoring to participating as stakeholder in the COPMOBA stakeholder meeting for Ouray Trail Planning (funded by CPW STC grant) to engaging with revision of CPW’s Trail Planning with Wildlife in Mind to CPW’s new policy re: requiring a hunting/fishing license to access State Wildlife Areas…..
Reflection/Evaluation
Our members feel passionate about wildlife and we are building relationships with agency personnel as well as non-profit partners, so that our Broads are respected and have a voice at the table. Note: although 22 members participated, some merely signed a petition that took a few minutes… the bulk of the hours can be attributed to 2 people.
