Short Description of Activity

Two volunteers hiked up Mt. Defiance on 7/24/20 and spent 3 hours hiking 8 miles.
Two Broads hiked up Mt Defiance on 8/1/20 and climbed 4,200 ft in 4 miles! And down that trail, which definitely had some sketchy stretches. Starvation Ridge Trail is closed at the bottom due to the power line construction, so now the ONLY trail we have to monitor is Mt. Defiance!

Reflection/Evaluation

The goal of the activity was to document trail use on the Mt. Defiance Trail. The crew on July 24 noted 3 people, 0 dogs, and 5 low flying aircraft while monitoring. No data has been submitted as of 8/3/20 for the 8/1/20 session.
