Activity Type: Education & Outreach (tabling, films & lectures, regional B-walks/works)
Short Description of Activity
Packing and loading supplies and unloading/setting up table at Moscow Farmers Market and tearing down and packing up and organizing once I got home again. Spoke to dozens of people, including Climate Change Lobby leaders (who are willing to connect) and collected about 12 signatures on petition (letter to Idaho and National leaders re swan hunting). Gave away dozens of stickers, buttons and brochures.
Reflection/Evaluation
I only stayed 2 1/2 hours. The location wasn’t great. It was cold (in shadows) and close to noon, a group of unmasked evangelical people moved to a table in close proximity (even though masks are required for the vendors at the market, especially during the first hour and a half for at-risk patrons), and the very animated and talkative people at the next table were not wearing masks, which made this reporter very uncomfortable
