Short Description of Activity
Linda Folkstad and Laurie Kerr monitored North Lake trails and camped at Rainy Lake CG. We saw very little evidence of birds, mammals, or people due to the fires in the forest.
Reflection/Evaluation
We noted a total of 4 people, 1 dog, and 3 low elevation aircraft. It was eerily quiet with no birds, animals, or humans other than ourselves to enjoy. The trails were moderate in length and elevation. Great views of Mt. Hood.
