Short Description of Activity
Cleaned 5 waterbars and trimmed 1/2 mile of trail including one stream crossing. At the trailhead, we encountered 18 firefighters and talked them out of heading up the trail with chainsaws!
Reflection/Evaluation
It was a very hot day, and we found it would be better to hike to the lake in the cool early morning and then work our way down next time. We encountered a total of 68 people in 7 hours.
